I had a very special Maternity photo session yesterday. Ericka and Omar had been so busy during their pregnancy, they did not think that they’d have time for photos. But they wanted the images so much that that yesterday, despite family flying in and making them wait at the airport (sorry family) they took the time to make it happen. The time together was lovely and emotional and too quick (I could work with this couple every day) but the images will last forever. We also threw in a good dose of fun. Myah, their spitfire daughter was super cute and a blast to play with. Thanks Myah!
This session epitomizes my love of being a portrait photographer. Being able to create images for folks who value the printed image is beyond compare. It’s such a warm feeling in my heart that folks trust me enough to be their photographer. I know it’s not rocket science, but for a lot of us, it’s important to get it right. Sometimes, there’s no 2nd chance.
Omar just let me know that Ericka and Rainbow baby Alexandra (really hope I spelled that right) are doing fine and resting. She delivered this afternoon… talk about no 2nd chances!
Congratulations to the happy parents. Good luck and I can’t wait to meet her.
