Why does this matter?

What's my Investment?

What other folks have wondered

How long does the photo session take?

Session times are not rushed. Depending upon the assignment, we͛ll take as much or as little time that͛s needed to create the portraits of your dream... or just a head shot. We don͛t rush any of our sessions. Most often, sessions run about an hour. All of the details are discussed in your Complimentary Portrait Design Consultation.

What is your Guarantee that I'll be happy with my portraits?

SHS offers a 100% Satisfaction - Happiness Guarantee for our portrait sessions. If you don't absolutely LOVE your portraits, you will have the option to schedule another session (free of charge) or we'll give you all your money back. No hassle. No questions.

I don't photograph well, how will you make me look good?

That͛s normal. I don͛t even like having my picture taken. BUT, that͛s why you͛re hiring me. It͛s my job to make you (and your family) look your best. Guaranteed.

Hey, what if I just want a few pics for Facebook?

That͛s fine. Your session will be quick. However, I rarely create only 1 or 2 images. You͛ll want a few more to select from. If you have a very specific need, we will discuss this during your Complimentary Portrait Design Consultation.

When will I get my final pictures?

Your images will be ready for viewing within 10 days after your session. We get together and review all of your images at your Viewing/Ordering session to project your portraits on a large screen to see every detail and discuss your finishing and framing options. These sessions are scheduled at your portrait session and take about 90 minutes. Executive Portraits / Head Shots are processed quicker, depending on your needs. Viewing and selection is web based.

How much does something like this run me?

You can get an idea of our prices by viewing / downloading our Studio Portrait Guide.

I live in (insert place), do you travel?

Yes, we travel. Please contact us for details on extended travel. All studio sessions and sessions in the Atlanta area have no additional cost.

How do we get started?

You can start by reviewing our Studio Portrait Guide. Then fill out the Session Inquiry Form. We will contact you as soon as we receive that form. You can also call or email us for more specific information.

Where is the studio located?

Our Studio / Residential gallery and Offices are located at 2719 Macby Avenue in Marietta, GA 30066

What should I wear or bring to my Maternity session?

Bring anything you feel comfortable wearing. Pants - jeans (any color), black pants Shirts - big, white, button-down rumpled man's shirt Tanks - anything fitted or stretchy in solid colors (white, black, red, blue...) Avoid patterns, stripes and plaids unless they truly are a big part of your identity. We also offer several covers and wraps that many of our clients love. All of this will be discussed at your Complimentary Portrait Design Consultation.

When should I schedule my Maternity Portrait Session?

I advise six to ten weeks before you're due date, but..... Scheduling depends on how your pregnancy is coming along. Schedule earlier if you're slowing down or having multiples. Schedule any time within that window, or even closer to your due date, if you're feeling great and like your shape.

Can I get Digital Files?

Every client receives a disk with all your purchased images at 5x7 inches @ 72dpi. This size is perfect for screensavers and emailing to friends and family. The low-resolution digital files are not dense enough for printing. You may purchase the entire shoot in high resolution files as long as you sign an agreement acknowledging that the photographer owns the copyright to the images. Additionally, you'll agree never to sell, distribute in any form existing now or in the future or otherwise financially profit from these images.
