Fall Family Portraits

by Stuart Hasson

Fall is such a great time for Family Portraits. The leaves changing make for glorious backgrounds. These backgrounds and colors go so perfectly on you Christmas Cards, too.

I found a new location this season, Pooles Mill Bridge Park in Cumming, GA. A bit of a drive, but soooooo worth it. The only drawback to this location is that, because it’s so nice for Autumn Portraits, it gets very crowded with shutterbugs on the weekend.

I took the Wise family there this weekend (please see comment above ? ) and the session was nearly perfect. Despite the crowds, we were able to have a nice relaxing time, find locations with out people in the background, and enjoy the lovely park, river, the covered bridge and all the beautiful fall colors.

And, sure, the location is great, but what really makes a great session? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?… That’s RIGHT! It’s the people. The Wises were a great family to work with; showed up on time, dressed perfectly, and were willing to pose where I asked them. Tara almost went for a swim and only one shoe out of 10 got soaked, but Annie and Everett seemed to have a blast, and that’s a great session!

If you’re interested in more details about this great park, send me a message and I’ll be glad to let you know all about it. We’re also offering 25 free Holiday Cards with every Family Portrait Session booked before Dec. 5th.

Happy Fall.

This picture is about 30 years old but it brings me back every time I look at it. THAT’s why I’m a photographer: To help people REMEMBER all of the good things in their Life!
